A cracker of a giveaway

Well I seem to be getting over my chest infection although I'm still wheezy!  Being an asthmatic I'm used to that. Can we avoid shameless Christmas advertising?  It's in almost every TV ad, the supermarkets are full of it and our local coffee shop is already playing carols for background music.  Of course sometimes it's necessary - like magazines for crafters.  It's no good putting out things to make for Christmas  and not give you time enough to make them is there?  Well Sew Hip is no different.  The Christmas edition is now out and it's a cracker!  (See what I did there?)  For readers in other countries in the UK we have things called Christmas crackers.  A wrapped cylinder with a small gift in it that is (gently) pulled between two people at the Christmas meal and one gets the gift.  In keeping with the cracker theme I am giving away three gifts.  Read to the bottom of this post to see how to enter.
Now we all know that I'm not much of a knitter but my grandson feels a bit left out when I make things for his sister.  Are other sewers like me?  I like making girls clothes but I'm at a bit of a loss when it comes to boys clothes.  Shirts are fiddly and not much worn by this generation, and trousers/pants/jeans need to be shop bought to have any street cred at all.  So I made him this jumper.  Very easy, just two squares sewn together at the side seams and shoulders.
I made this pinafore for his little sister. It's in the same needlecord as the one I made for my other granddaughter but different pattern.
I thought these aprons were fun and of course anything with chickens is a winner in my books.  If you'd like to share something you've made why not pop it the Sewchristine Flickr group

I'm off this week to Bristol to see my daughter and family and to sell my makes at the Bristol Market.  I've just about finished making stuff, here's the last couple of things.
This bag is made from very sweet fabric with tiny blue birds on it.  It's called Paris Apartment by Bari. J.
These pom poms were the inspiration for these cushions.  I love the combination of pink, red and orange and these cushions really fit the bill.

Jessie's not for sale!  But I found this pose funny and endearing.  It looks like she's smiling but really it's just that her lip has got turned under.
Ok The GIVEAWAY!   I have three copies of the Christmas Edition of Sew Hip to give away..and it's got my warm winter bag tutorial in it!
So they will be going to three separate winners.  Leave a comment to be in the draw, put a comment on facebook, twitter, your blog or anywhere else on the web for a second chance in the draw.  I will announcing the winners on Friday 9th December.
