I got two of these lovely calendars on Tuesday because I have contributed a tutorial for a small wallet. If you haven't seen them before they are really great. Every three days you turn over to a new sewing project. Usually easy, fun and quick these projects come with full instructions, pictures and a pattern where needed. You can buy one here or you can win one by leaving a photo on the flickr group pool. I will draw one winner from there on Monday 9th August.
Remember the magazine giveaway I announced on 21st July? Well 2 things have happened: one I was sent another magazine, and two Ady (the winner) hasn't been in touch. Therefore I now have two magazines to give away. These are both Issue 18 of Sewhip. If you would like to win one of these just leave a comment. I will be drawing these winners on 9th August also.
I made this colourful back pack for issue 20 of Sewhip. It has a zippered pocket on the front and a zippered closing around the top of the bag. I used timtex to give it shape. I'm currently working on the Christmas issue.

I love this backpack. I love the magazine too. I am always looking for sewing magazines but most of the stores in my area only carry 1 or 2 if any. Oh and thank you for sharing the calendar. Thats awesome. I will be ordering one on amazon.
